Night, Day
By; Kaitlyn Khourey Terissa Bryan
The stars shine as bright as the moon,
especially when the night is blue.
And when the sun starts to appear in your sight,
the stars will now say goodnight.
I enjoyed writing this poem, mainly because I like to put words together that rhyme such as cat and hat. Along with that I like the stars and moon, so mainly space. my inspiration for this poem came from me sitting in commons thinking of some really great rhyming words, ultimately I figured out some good ones.
Durning the course of writting this poem I felt very in the zone. I used my imagination so much that I rightfully thought I was in the mist of the moon and the beautiful stars that surrond it. I feel that the line that best sticks out to me and many of my readers is " the stars will now say goodnight." I see this line as a great closing to what the poem was all about.
To branch off of that I would like to address the theme of this poem. The reason I worte about stars was really because I wanted to point out the cycle of our day. It takes a good look on the thins we sometimes forget about.
